OK Vision TV Box

The OK Vision service has officially launched in Malaysia, giving Malaysians more options to watch their shows on television.

For those who don’t know, OK Vision is a joint venture service between Ansat Broadcast owned by Vincent Tan and one of Indonesia’s largest media companies, PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk.

For your information, this service is a pay television service that is already available in Indonesia, and is now being expanded to the Malaysian market.

This official launch is not surprising and can be said to be a bit late as both companies had signed a cooperation agreement for the term in December 2022.

Despite being announced earlier, details about OK Vision are still quite limited, although its official website is already up and has provided a list of channels available through the service.

According to information available through the official OK Vision website, there are 2 types of content or channels available through the OK Vision service:

– Paid broadcast – OK Vision Package: RM20/month

OK Vision provides 35 channels transmitted via satellite to the OK100 device connected using a KU-band satellite antenna.

Without a doubt, Ansat Broadcast and the MNC Group’s new platform aims to be a direct competitor to Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad’s own services, which has been one of the longest-running satellite television, streaming and IPTV providers in Malaysia.

During the launch, owner Vincent Tan said OK Vision is well positioned to capture a share of the local digital media and entertainment market, offering a diverse and superior range of content options.
